Beyond the down of literacy the eons of humanity’s past stretch back for hundreds thousands of years.

Periods of Egyptian prehistory and cultural processes stretches back from the first human entry into the valley of the Nile perhaps one million year ago to the spectacular emergence of the Egyptian civilization under the pharaohs of the first two dynasties, between about 3100 and 2700 B.C.

The stone age or ‘ Palaeolithic ‘ era ( 700000-5500 b.c. ) was totally ignored from Egypt past , it was not admitted that there was a prehistory in Egypt as if the Egyptian culture has emerged suddenly in history .

Even when prehistory was still infancy in Egypt, Egyptology attained maturity beside the difficulties of its research because it deals with larger blocks of time with dating techniques with decades of inaccuracy.
The Stone Age people are traced by their stone tools made of flint, quartzite or sandstone are typified by their large oval shape and their weight.
